History of Jijamata Eduction Society
Jijamata Education society- JES was established in 1986, at Nandurbar District in Maharashtra for the development of education of Tribal as well as other economical back word students.
Late Diliprao Mothabhau More had established this Society with having aim to provide good education for tribal students of Nandurbar District which consist of 6 Talukas. These are Nandurbar, Navapur, Shahada, Taloda, Akkalkuwa and Akrani Mahal (also called Dhadgaon).
This organisation has many educational institute and colleges such as Arts, science, & commerce Senior college, Jr College, B.Ed. College, Pharmacy college, and St. Mother Teresa English Medium School.
Also this organisation is running study centre of distance course i.e. YCMOU courses, and planning to expand it’s activities for growth of organisation.
